She was a member of Victory Church and a homemaker. Marlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She loved serving her family, her church and mostly, her Lord.She was preceded in death by her father, John William Hodges Sr.; mother, Myrtle Gammill; step-father, Earl Gammill; brothers, Marvin Hodges, Bennie Hodges, Kenny Hodges, Thomas Hodges, Dayton Hodges, Leonard Hodges and Oscar Hodges.She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William F (Bill) Jones Sr. of Camden, Arkansas; three sons, William F (Frank) Jones Jr. (Renee) of Camden, Gary Jones (Mary) of Camden, and Allen Jones (Donna) of Mount Ida, Arkansas; one daughter, Barbara Wolfe (Wayne) of Camden; one brother, John William Hodges Jr.; two sisters, Joann Pickett and Lula Mae Collums; six grandchildren, Jeremy Jones (Leigh Ann) of Camden, AR, Devonna Townsend (Brad) of Texarkana, Amy Betha of Camden, Josh Jones (Sharon) of Jackson, Missouri, Trina Grant (Jeremy) of Camden, and Hannah Burns (David) of Camden; and 11 great grandchildren.Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the funeral home.Funeral service followed at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
